The Yard is a small, eight-room place set inside a rare historic building. It offers an atmosphere gently separated from the outside world and is designed for guests who value space, privacy, and character rather than constant interaction.

The building was originally constructed in the 1880s as a consulate guesthouse in Pera. Despite the changes it has gone through over time, its scale, calm presence, and quiet elegance can still be felt today.

The shared areas here are not just places to pass through. They exist to pause, to breathe, and to slow down the rhythm of the day.

Instead of a visible service culture, we stay in the background and allow the space to speak in its own language. Each room is carefully prepared — clean, considered, and equipped with everything essential. The rest is left to the guest’s own rhythm. The silence here is not an emptiness, but a space to think, to rest, or simply to do nothing.

There is no traditional reception desk. No crowds. No fixed routine.

Access is simple and secure; with a personal door code, guests are free to arrive, stay, and move at their own pace. Here, guests are not expected to adapt to the space; the space quietly adapts to them.

With only eight rooms, guests naturally become neighbors. At The Yard, shared spaces are guided by mutual respect and a quiet awareness of others. This is not a crowded place, but a shared environment where privacy and togetherness exist side by side.

Our aim is not to offer more, but to remove what is unnecessary. Not to demand attention, but to be quietly remembered.

Some places affect you while you are there. Others return to you later, in silence.
